💧 Enhance Water Filtration with GE Reverse Membrane FX12M Compatible Review

Easy to install. Fill/empty tank twice. There is no funny taste in the water. Use it for cooking and making ice cream. When the old filters are removed, the main filter usually becomes a nuisance. Secondary isn't that bad. So trust them to work as intended to provide cleaner drinking water.

Both pre-filters were original GE, the membrane was straight. Everything fits perfectly, they've been installed for a few weeks now and my filtration system is working great. I will definitely buy again if the filters need to be changed again.

My system requires a replacement reverse osmosis cartridge FX12M. The TFM-18 included in this kit is significantly smaller in diameter than the FX12M/TLC-24 reverse osmosis cartridge normally included in the system. and the black body seal is much larger than the body that the reverse osmosis cartridge is inserted into. I'm not sure the cartridge will have a proper watertight seal once it's finally installed in the case.

This product does not meet the product description. I have changed the original kits at least four times and have always been satisfied. These filters also leave the water tasteless and release a tremendous flow of water. In the original, the water appeared to be clear. The water flow was more limited. Not being a brain researcher, I can say they don't filter the water as much as the originals. It's a shame that you have to spend so much time removing and installing it. I will remove them…

I had the same problem as Mr Rob Gunther (03/12/17) although mine didn't break because I couldn't even push the cap far enough to tighten it. Not only is it longer, but the rubber seal around it is much larger. Definitely not an FX12M filter. Based on the many good reviews, I can only assume that this company sells a mix of parts, some of which fit and some don't. The correct replacement R/O filter is the GE FX12M and this kit includes a GE TFM18 R/O filter which for some reason is slightly smaller. The pre- and post-filters are non-GE and poor quality.
