They keep failing in our dishwasher. There is no choice but to keep replacing when they fail. The end of the hook is not strong enough. They are difficult to replace. I probably have 60 bucks just to replace these cables in the last 5 years.

This is what I ordered and is a genuine GE part. However, the part is 95% correct --- not perfect. The cord is about half an inch longer, so when I open the dishwasher door it falls about an inch below horizontal. It doesn't matter much and is GE's problem, not the supplier's.
