A little hard to hit the pulley but it was.

A little difficult to get onto the reel but it was a real pleasure. Several times I have tried to put on a belt without this tool. Once after I installed it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Quality

Great tool - parts and accessories

tried to install the belt and couldn't put it on the pulley. Even with the tool this was a problem, but the tool works with a bit of patience and a few zip ties to keep the belt in place when attaching.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Legacy model

Assists in installing belt

This tool was used to install a washer drive belt on a GE washer. This tool was more difficult to install than the strap, but once installed it made installing the strap easier. It only took one of the two o-rings, the second is most likely a replacement.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Belt replacement on washing machine

I'm sure the part works as advertised but I also had to replace the clutch. Since I had the engine removed from the car, I put the belt on the pulleys at the time. I then adjusted the belt tension when I reinstalled the motor. By replacing the belt and clutch at the same time, I only had to remove the bottom end of the washer ONCE.

Pros
  • Good thing

This tool is a bit overpriced for what you are.

This tool is a bit more expensive than what you get. If you don't know how to change the belt, this will help. I have not used it to replace the belt on my washing machine. I used two zip ties to attach it to the drive wheel. It will take some effort, but it will work. Take off your ties as soon as you put on your belt. You may need to turn the drive wheel to get the belt in the correct position. Hope that helps.

  • Pleasant

Use cable ties, save money

Waste of money. Too bad I didn't video my fight with this interchangeable belt. First, none of the videos I watched suggested tipping the washing machine over to get onto the floor. Second, I spent more time installing this gadget than I thought possible. Here's what you need to do: Tilt the washing machine to access the floor. Wrap the new belt around the ring with ribbon, turn the drum and add another ribbon. Now use a stick or screwdriver to hold the band. Continue rotating the drum slowly…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrades
