I've tried many different ways of carrying my landing net and not losing it when wading and fly fishing. This is the easiest and most efficient method I've tried.

Used to attach my fishing net to my fly vest. I could never find a good way to connect my network to this gadget. Similar to the Orvis version but cheaper.

I mounted the retractor high on the back of my rear bag which kept the net out of the way most of the way to the river and while wading.
