Great, simple and effective

I've tried many different ways of carrying my landing net and not losing it when wading and fly fishing. This is the easiest and most efficient method I've tried.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Band

I solved my network problem!

Used to attach my fishing net to my fly vest. I could never find a good way to connect my network to this gadget. Similar to the Orvis version but cheaper.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Overall ok but...

Practicality - Water Sports

I used to use a bungee net all the time. I wish I had found the hammerhead many years ago! I hang it from a loop in my jacket and my net hangs behind my back, not in the way at all. When I need it, it's right there with just enough line to catch a fish.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The BEST tackle retractor on the market

I use a pair on my fly fishing net and batting rod. I use one for my GPS when hunting. Unlike other more expensive branded retractors, this one features strong tension and retractor locking, which is invaluable to outdoor enthusiasts.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Good but not great

As expected, we designed and made well.

I was looking for magnetic mounts for a trout net, saw this and bought this instead. Much easier to put the grid back in place. Orvis sells their version for $2 more, but the only difference is the Orvis label; otherwise they are identical. The 12 ounce pull is enough and the line is strong. A hanging clip also allows me to hang it on my belt when I'm not using a vest.

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Powerful retractor for fishing kayaks

I have been using magnetic net holders for many years but decided to reconfigure my fly gear. I mounted the retractor high on the back of my rear bag which kept the net out of the way most of the way to the river and while wading. The net was easily accessible when fishing and the retractor line remained well secured. away from the stream, unlike the elastic net holders required with a magnet holder. After releasing the fish, the net returned to its original position without any problems. I…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best
