GearAmerica Mega Shackles Black (2PK) Review

I am super happy with my new hangers. The paint on them is great and covers them completely so don't worry about rusting. They are super meaty and chewy. I really like that all edges are soft so you don't ruin the webbing or tow straps with these quality shackles. Looks great!

Not only do they look great, they are also durable. Estimated at £58,000. They are worth the money, in fact I think they are worth more than I received them. Good packaging and they donate to ST. Jew Hospital. I ordered 2 sets because I have a hook on the back of my 4Runner so I now have 1 extra as a spare.

These are durable D-rings that come with rubber pads and bumpers so they won't rattle or dirty your bumper. bright orange, love how they look on the jeep. I used a zip tie to secure the screw pin after installation just as a precaution so they don't come loose or fall off the jeep while driving.

Works really well on my secondary front and rear bumpers! Nice powder coating and I liked everything. The green color is bright but not too distracting. This is exactly what I was looking for when I bought two sets! The images on Revain give a good representation of the actual color. And her support of a respected charity is icing on the cake for me. Would definitely buy again!

They looked great on my jeep. I had a freeway flight although I found them to be very safe. The only complaint I have is how quickly they go away. I live in upstate New York and they have faded so much in just 4-6 months. I couldn't imagine what they would look like after a few months in states with a lot of sun. I probably won't spend money to replace what's missing, but the concept is good.

The look of these picks was exactly what I was looking for but anyone who ever tests the finished product should wear glasses. I ordered 2 sets of these shackles in red and all 4 are missing paint. They have a great warranty on these products but I don't need to use them until I even put them in my car. We are returning both sets. I really wanted them on my truck, but now I have to choose another manufacturer.

Good looking and great value. The only thing I wish they were red, red. They're a bit on the orange side, which (as silly as it sounds, given its purpose and what's going on) clashes with my red Jeep. As with any red accent. They are high quality and I love that they give a portion of the profits to St. Jude. Very well packed with good literature. I will definitely order more from them.

***Change!**** - They sent me a new pair of shackles for the original equipment and they were perfect. Outstanding customer service! Not too impressive is the initial quality of the finish. The paint smudges like it was put in a box or picked up while still wet/tacky. Happy with the included pads. Ultimately, I'm not too upset because I know they're being used and abused. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.

These things are amazing! First, the box was very heavy for its small size. A GREAT sign when buying a steel product that you want to be strong. As soon as I opened it, I knew right away that it was a quality product. Heavy duty thick metal with a beautiful gloss black finish. They also come with rubber washers to keep the mounts from rattling when you install them on your rig. I can't wait to check these things out. I know they can handle anything!
