GEARWRENCH 15 Pc. 12 Pt. Combination Wrench Set, Long Pattern, Metric - 81902 Review

I work as a diesel mechanic & needed a set of wrenches. I needed the set to go big in both sae &mm & didn't want to spend a bunch of $. I could've went with the tool truck "snap on/matco", as he comes once I week. After receiving this Gearwrench/ Apex wrench set I noticed the 1/2 wrench was slightly bowed/ bent. Took a pic & sent it to Apex & 2weeks later got replacement in the mail for FREE & also got to keep the 1/2 bent wrench. if I had to do it again I'd still choose this set hands down.

Great wrenches overall, longer than most but not near as long as the harbor freight long patterns. The case/sleeve is great. They have held up fairly well so far. I am a little disappointed with how tightly they fit and the metal deforms a bit if I hook one wrench onto another for more leverage.I have seen lots of reviews stating that GearWrench stuff is still pretty good but its not what it used to be and I think that holds true with this set. I had bought this because I wanted to organize the wrench drawer in my cart, and I figured I’d buy these and relegate the ones they replaced to my side job set, but I ended up doing the opposite - I found that the roll up bag fit my 1” - 1-1/2” older wrenches (an admixture of Craftsman and Sunex), so I did that and put these towards my side job. I will start by saying I am not a big gear wrench fan at all, with that said, this is a nice set of large combo wrenches. I needed these for a project I was doing and did not have wrenches this big. I am not the kind of person who will buy a cheap tool to hopefully get him buy for one use, if I'm buying a tool I want a nice quality one that will last me forever, even if I only plan on using it once. I was looking at another brand but I came across these on a good enough sale it was hard to turn

Either my set of these was mis-packaged or there is a typo in the "more info" where the included sizes are given - the listing says 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 32mm sizes are included, but, what the set I received included was 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 32mm sizes. Resulted in me having to return the 28mm I bought separately to fill in the gap, and order a separate 29mm wrench instead. Can someone review and correct as needed?

They call these long? They arnt any longer than my husky ratcheting wrenches. But for 77 bucks I can't complain Poor value for money!
