Fantastic Socket Set for Heavy-Duty Repairs!

Based on my experience, this hand tool is an absolute game-changer when it comes to working on cars. It has a sturdy construction, and the sockets are easy to swap thanks to the quick-release feature. One downside is that the set might not include all the socket sizes you need for every job..

Needed to pull out the Pentastar oil cooler assembly. Must be used with a suitable torque wrench.

I haven't found many external torx fasteners in my fleet but this particular size, E8, is required to build the oil pan on Pentastar V6 engines. Gearwrench does great stuff and this head is very good. machined and its tolerances were perfect for my needs. When working with external Torx screws, use a torque wrench or other appropriate tool to ensure they are properly tightened. They remove the bolts long before this tool fails.
