These are perfect for my apartment. No dimmer switch, no problem, use these bulbs. Can dim, change color, program and change from warm to cool lighting.

Purchased 2 packs of 4 and 1 single bulb was DOA.The bulbs are easy to set up, I suggest doing 1 at a time or you may go into convulsions with all the flashing lights. From what I have figured out so far is that you can't change colors within a scene, only white brightness and color temp.

Warning! When installing these- if you have epilepsy, be careful! Lights will blink!These lights are awesome. Compatible with Google and Alexa, they have a great light output and spectrum. Great recessed smart light. Easy to connect to a 2.4Ghz band on a multiple band router. It was able to select the right band (since its 2.4 only) without complicated adjustments to existing home network.The Alexa integration is great on this device but Alexa has trouble setting most lighting to a true "warm” setting of 2500K. Too many problems. The deal breaker was when the lights started flashing (this is what they do before you set them up them but these had been set up already. But this was not the only problem. I bought these because the product info said it was easy to share in a family (otherwise only one person can operate the lights?). Wasted several hours with this only to find out via their customer service department that these are not compatible with most routers.

They are constantly disconnecting and need to be repaired and they take forever to connect. If you like spending 2 hours a month repairing all your lights then get them. Otherwise stay away from Geeni, they are a waste of money and time!

I love the Geeni line and bought these for my drop ceiling lights in my basement. They are a great value for the price and the other Geeni lights I have have always worked perfectly with my wifi, Alexa, and smart phone app. Unfortunately, I didn't know that these would not work with a dimmer switch, so I had to return them.

Easy to install, download the geeny app first, then you can add them to Alexa, Google home in my case. Different colors and dims also. Great product.

Out of all the different sets of smart bulbs that are hubless that I have had, I think I have found my favorite. These are very nice. Especially their price. For it being a smart bulb, and it being a BR30. The fact that I can adjust the Kelvin temp, and, have the ability to change different colors, thats really nice. And they are dimmable. Great bulb.
