Easy repair and good fit.

They fit my 2005 GMC Sierra perfectly. Very easy to install. I would suggest applying petroleum jelly to the area going through the end of the rod. Installed with a bang.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Exact body and trim replacement

The original has lasted over 15 years on my Chevy Silverado. Cheap plastic parts had to be made out of nylon or some other composite material to last a lifetime. They should be enough for a whole car life.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Safety

Same as OEM, only cheaper

Used to repair a broken clip on the rear sliding cab door handle. Just a few minutes and everything is like new again. Also, I have a whole bag of spares in case the other door or back door fails.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Zero

Happy camper here, worked great

I'm a 66 year old female and I fixed the back door, I couldn't open it at all. Found these clips to have fallen off. Now I have a working trunk. It would cost me a fortune to go to a dealer or store. My fix is 5.00 and I have 4 spares.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Basically ok but...

Very important! on clips

Five pairs of these rod clips are more than most people will likely ever need, but when you do need them again it's good to know you have them. For the little money I paid for it, I can recommend it. They fit perfectly and were easy to assemble. They're made from strong, durable nylon plastic so I'm sure they'll last a long time.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • So far so good

There's scrap on the body

So I tried to fix a friend's tailgate latch on a 1998 Chevy pickup. All that was needed were the traction clamps. I always keep some in my small parts drawer as these clips are used for various types of fasteners and manufacturers, except mine was too small. I understand Revane assuming they're going to get it, and of course they will. For $6 whatever cheap or good, I figured they would work. Here's the problem: the outside diameter of the concave cylindrical mounting side (the part you insert…
