A larger cable means a MUCH larger center conductor and supports better signal retention for HF/VHF/UHF and higher frequency use. 200% Higher VHF Performance than RG8X; 400% Higher than RG58. ✔The braid of this PL259 jumper cable is high-density tinned copper and 100% shield. Double Shielded Coax extension cable assemblies are constructed with top quality extremely low-loss S-LMR400 cable and gold plated connectors. High frequency low loss and low impedance, heat Shrink on Both Ends. ✔PL-259 M/M (UHF) Low-Loss Coax for RF antenna connection, antenna analyzer, radio scanner, ham radio transceiver, SWR meter, CB radio handheld or antenna tuner, and more.

Thickness ! on my review.

Nice thick cable ! I’m using inside for a scanner antenna for aircraft communications. You have to form this stuff it’s so sturdy ! Great low loss cable ! No noise at all ! Outdoor quality stuff here ! Real stuff cable*

Pros
  • Home Audio Accessories
Cons
  • The product description is not very clear about whether this is a solid-core or stranded-core cable, which could affect its performance and durability

Someone that knows Coax

I was very happy with they way the ends were installed. They were properly and professionally soldered. Coax is coax when comparing LMR 400. WHat I look for is the quality of the PL-259's and the way they were installed.I will be purchasing more in the future!

Pros
  • Uhf, Pl259
Cons
  • Some users have reported issues with signal loss or interference when using this cable, which can be frustrating and limit your ability to use your radio equipment effectively

Wish I’d have known what type of cable it was

The cable is too thick and stiff. It’s good cable and connectors are done well but wish it had been thinner cable. Standard Packaging.

Pros
  • Standard Packaging
Cons
  • The cable is only rated for 50 ohms, which means it may not be suitable for all types of radio equipment and could limit your options
