Job Done: Protractor

It took a bit of fiddling to get it working properly but it worked out well. Definitely better than without. Pretty durable for plastic if you take good care of it.

Great for decorating

I used this to find the right angles on some weird walls in my kitchen. They don't meet at 45 degrees which made it easier to set up my miter saw. Worked great.

Easy to use, you can't do without it.

Repair of the basement due to flooding. My husband did all the drywall and I do the finishing. It worked great. There are many angles in our basement and only one of them turned out to be a true 90 degree angle.

Precise for measuring joints

Only used a few times since I received it. So far it has been very accurate. We first double-checked the gap measurements with a handheld goniometer to make sure it was working properly. If it keeps working for the next 9-12 months the price will be great.

Fairly accurate/somewhat weak

I tested it a number of ways and it actually read within 3k inches. Not bad! But if you're looking for something permanent, then this isn't for you. Flexible plastic and no locking mechanism to keep it at an angle.

Unreliable Best Protractor

When It Works, It Works Great. But it comes randomly with numbers. I had to take about 4 measurements each time to find the most likely one. For example, you know that it's about half a 45-degree angle, so you know that if he says 105 or 12 or 236, it's wrong. When 20.6 comes, think it's right.
