DIY and SAVE MONEY best in Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

Many years ago my timer failed and the replacement was made in the USA, it doesn't BUT. there's a cheaper one on the market, DO NOT take it, I think it's $11). I set this timer and my fridge started working. You can't beat the price. When I call the handyman. 65 dollars. His timer (which he should have ordered) costs $67. Add taxes and shipping costs. DIY is hip.

Not only saved $70, actually saved $8,000

This timer is fine. Even for 11 dollars. The exact size and shape of a replacement for my 16 year old GE Monogram Bottom Freezer. And it seems to be working. The time will show. My local shop charged $70 for this part. Most people would give up a 16-year-old refrigerator, but a replacement costs $8,000. I spend 11€ and see what happens. Very satisfied. When your fridge is warm but the freezer is cold. And you see the accumulation of ice on the reels. This is the first item to be replaced…

Easy DIY project and I'm NOT that comfortable

This fixed my General Electric GTL17JBSERBS refrigerator. This part doesn't seem cheap either. I had no idea what to do until I did a little research. The difficulty is to find out why the defrost does not work. The system consists of three parts: thermostat, heating element and defrost timer. I found that you can manually set the timer to defrost mode. There is no need to disassemble anything - you can translate the timer directly from the refrigerator with a screwdriver.
