I was careful installing my Mini and the speaker fabric is torn. The cord doesn't hold up well at all. Give it up and try something else.

I have old sockets and most of these new "socket holders" for small things just fall out. This mount comes with a nifty adapter that fits over the fork to use the bottom to support the weight a bit. it reminds me of the old plastic outlet covers people put in to keep the plug out of the reach of kids. Very smart.

This is the only outlet bracket on the market right now which is why I bought it. But in general the mount is poor in terms of the quality of the materials used and the way it is made. Cheap plastic. The tabs that hold the wire break VERY lightly had to be glued with hot glue. The bracket also doesn't hold the mini very well and falls out very easily. It's relatively cheap in price, so you get what you pay for - as long as it works well.

I'll spare you the disappointment. Take it out of the box and break the teeth. Next, take your Google nest and use a serrated steak knife to rip the fabric around the edges. This thing is cheaply made junk. Installing the Google module is a lesson in frustration. Your plug adapter won't actually work unless the ground pin is on top of the polarized pin (neither will yours).
