Description of Genova Art CraftyClay: Professional-Grade White Light Air Dry Modeling Clay with Superior Texture - Ideal for Artists & Classrooms - 17.64 Oz (500gr)

Professional Grade Air Dry Art Clays for adults and kids. Please see the "Blue Crown" photo in the gallery. It's made with a pro-grade mold by Katy Sue Designs (UK). Not possible to get this result with any other soft-clay in the market. It doesn't stick inside the detailed molds. It's very easy to form realistic designs like the "Green Rose" picture in the gallery. Tested by clay modeling professionals at Creativation Show, Art Materials World Exhibition and ECRM Marketgate Chicago. Suitable For Jewelry Making, Clay Flower and Leaf Projects, and Miniature Clay Ear Rings, Clay Food Designs and Homeschooling. Works perfect with detailed molds without sticking, Easy to obtain new colors and tones by mixing with acrylic paints and other color clays. Dries smoothly and never shrinks. Colors never fade, drying never cause cracking. Holds mediums and varnish well. This is NOT heavy type "Terra Cota Clay or Ceramic Clay". Crafty Clay shelf life is 24 months. You can use in small portions and keep the lids closed. Our team tested the lifespan after opening and prove a 3 months lifespan with daily reusing and closing the lids. However we suggest keepin the lids closed right after picking the portion necessary. Genova Art is an international art & craft supplies company and Crafty Clay is our dedicated brand for air dry light modeling clays. Paintable with oil and acrylic paint. Smooth Color Mixing with acrylic paints and other color clays. Dries in between 30 minutes to 12 Hours, depending on the thickness of layers. A good option for slime clays, homeschool art and craft projects, kindergarten crafting activities, at home craft ideas for kids and art classes.

It's out of this world!

This clay was so easy and FUN to make! I was able to build these little green men with a stick frame and clay on top. I even used a clay container lid to sculpt the base of the planet. The clay dried evenly so I had no problems with cracking. In addition, clay absorbs paint well.

Pros
  • Clay and Dough
Cons
  • No Instructions

Works better than traditional clay on a potter's wheel.

We're new to pottery (if that's what it's called). Even after watching some YouTube videos, we weren't very successful in forming a round piece of "something" on the wheel. Because this tone is so light and airy, we didn't think it would work on a round, but we were wrong. We put it on a wheel and used it like clay and it worked. We were able to control and manipulate that tone better. Several times we made a bowl or something nearby. For those who know what they are doing, this may not be clay
