Quality product OEM

Delivery was very quick. Not installed yet. So I will update this review later after installation. Boxing was cool and strong. The quality I thought is nothing more than an OEM feel. Which is always great. The price of the item is spot on.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Zero

Get stuck! in trailer accessories

The part snaps right into the aftermarket factory hitch I bought and has factory wiring built right in. connected, but may have to be activated by the dealer or yourself with the alphaOBD program and the obd adapter.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Working speed

My 2016 Durango R/T did not come from the factory with a .

My 2016 Durango R/T didn't come with a factory installed hitch mount. Luckily, the 2016 R/T came with a factory-installed trailer lighting harness. All I had to add was a hitch receiver and this adapter that fits right into the hitch receiver and plugs into the trailer's pre-installed lighting harness.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not the best

Stand in place. Bought a 2014 Grand Cherokee from a dealer.

Stands out. Took a 2014 Grand Cherokee to the dealer to program the computer to turn on the trailer headlights. Note: The support rep told me that some people are trying to save money by running wires to old-school light circuits. It just makes the computer (which controls everything on this car) think there's a short and it breaks that circuit. Next trip to dealer to fix this mess. More dollars.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Communication with seller
