Genuine E3D V6 Block Cartridge Aluminum Heater Review

I have a Prusa MK3s. I ordered this on purpose because it was designed for the cartridge thermistor. What I got was an old style box that you put a thermistor in and fasten with a screw. The same style I already had 10 pieces. There is no hole for the cartridge thermistor. This does not match the photo.

I hesitated to purchase this product as other reviews said the resulting device was not suitable for cartridge thermistors; However, the one I received is correct. I was also very surprised by the build quality of this thermal block. I've never used a real E3D part (I've always bought those cheap fakes) and I'm very happy with the quality of this unit.

I bought this heater block sold by 3DMakerworld. If you buy from another third party, your results may vary. This block was a perfect replacement for my Prusa MK3S E3D V6 hotend and came with all the necessary screws and Allen keys. My original E3D nozzle and thermal break screwed in smoothly with no play, and there was no problem installing the heater and thermistor. Don't hesitate to buy again.
