Be careful. what the camp offers

Bought this genuine Ford throttle body from stock - said to be 'damaged box' and got someone's old throttle body which they spray painted to look new. People suck. sent back.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Genuine PRODUCT Bug Fixed

Good Morning Everyone. Down in Maggie's Valley we pass a ford. And when Ford put me into emergency mode, the code says turburculosis. I have a new original Ford Turburculoside and it works well at the right time of the night

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal for the fuel system

I'm a longtime shade tree mechanic with several engine repairs under my belt. This is a good factory part - perfect fit and easy to install. After installation, my truck (which was throwing the dreaded Wrench error light) ran smoother than before. The error went away and hasn't reappeared. A few months later, my truck easily passed a smog test in California.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great

fit and worked fine, fixed my throttle response

Fairly easy replacement, fixed erratic throttle response on my 2005 Expedition (sometimes I would stomp on the gas from a standstill and barely respond to the engine, eventually it will catch up and it will good) very happy with the results. I considered replacing just the throttle position sensor, but the price difference made this seem like an easier replacement and I'm glad I went with the entire throttle body.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • old

Amazing factory replacement direct from Ford!

Shift and throttle sync problem fixed. The truck would upshift at about 40-45mph and then when you hit the gas pedal it caused the transmission to rattle and at times it seemed to skip and seek gears. I've seen a lot of people swap out just the TPS sensor for around $60-70, but I saw this one for $214 so I just bought the whole thing. The truck now runs great and there are no more shifting issues or misfire symptoms. purrs like a kitten!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So-so
