Ordered thinking it was OEM as advertised. NO! I'll start by saying yes, the filter wrench fits snugly and is metal. The o-rings, filter, drain pipe and drain plug turned out to be normal, but strangely not in the Toyota packaging. I decided to go to the dealer and buy an official filter to compare with peace of mind. WOW. The Revain filter is different! The filter may be ok but it is NOT OEM and in my opinion it really is!

The wrench works but the filter size is nowhere near my 5.7 liter Tundra engine. Luckily, another reviewer drew my attention to a problem with the filter, so I ordered a genuine Toyota filter from Amazon the same day. You can see the problem in the photo - the dirty filter came out of my engine and was the same size as the original Toyota filter - the one I got with this filter was much smaller than required and didn't fit me. Also, one of the O-rings was a bit too big.

I ran the thing around with a 3/8" ratchet for a while before pulling the breaker out. I would not recommend using a 3/8" square drive if the dealer overtightened the oil filler cap. It's better to use a hex instead, I think it's 27mm. I'm giving it 3 stars as I'm sure it would work great if the cap wasn't so tight it's only rated for 25N/m and this wrench would sure take it off easily if tightened with it lots of torque.

The key for the filter broke on the second use - see photo. It's poorly made, has a loose fit, and the cast aluminum material just doesn't fit the purpose. It worked the first time, even with a sloppy landing. It is better to buy steel. If you decide to buy one or already have one, DO NOT use a 1/2" ratchet square drive. The wrench CAN withstand some use if you only use a hex, although it's hard to tell if it should be 26mm or 27mm. or 1 1/8 inch, since neither will fit. Once again you get what

I bought this to do my first oil change on my mother's 2012 Highlander Limited. Includes everything and more you need to get the job done. The key fits perfectly in the oil filter cover and gives the impression of a quality part. The local Toyota dealer wanted the same key for $41!
