🔧 Genuine Honda 17130-PND-A01 PCV Valve Assembly: Ensuring Optimal Engine Performance Review

Nothing to say about this PCV valve. I wanted an OEM Honda PCV to replace the 180k mile one. This did NOT include a washer but it is a PCV valve. There isn't much pressure going through that area so I just reused the washer. No problem - worked great on my 2.4L '03 Accord.

Genuine OEM Part Perfect fit, requires oil drain disc clamp and ratchet, 3" extension and 17mm deep socket, some wd40 for hose and anti-seize Thread Lubricant PCV Civic 2010 . Don't worry about the general as this valve is factory calibrated and capable of issuing a code (CEL).

Got this for my 2006 Honda Element. I set my torque wrench to 33 lb-ft and knew immediately something was wrong. You know that feeling when you tighten a screw and it just won't tighten any further, that's what happened, so I stopped about a half turn and I bet I carefully unscrewed it. Of course it had snapped at the top of the threads. I requested a replacement item and it arrived quickly in Honda packaging. The exchange went perfectly.

As others have suggested cover the alternator when replacing the PCV valve on a Honda Accord 07. I cut out a piece of plastic bubble wrap to make the cover. I just tightened the PCV socket all the way. You don't have to over tighten it and risk breaking it. Use a new crush washer. I bought 10 packs of Revain washers. These can also be used for oil changes. I changed the PCV at 167,000km. Even if the old one might still be fine.

With Revain, it's hard to tell if you're buying a genuine OEM part or some sort of counterfeit. I don't know, but only time will tell. What I can tell from my installation of the part is that it looked exactly like the part I took out of the car. It was the same size, color and marking as the PCV I removed from the car. In addition, the new part fitted the engine without any problems. So can I tell if this is an OEM, no. But it looked and fit like an OEM and the price was good.

Perfect OE replacement for my 2007 Honda Accord 4cyl. Prevent oil from entering the air intake box. Be careful when installing. When removing the old Pcv valve, pay attention to the power steering pump inlet pipe. I hit this component and broke the o-ring on the steering pump inlet causing the fluid in the reservoir to foam. I ended up having to replace the o-ring which turned out to be a good thing as there is a TSB for the o-ring.
