No more code in the sensors

2004 Honda CRV has knock sensor code - disconnect battery - plastic cover under bumper removed - wrench size 1-1/16 - you need small hands/arms otherwise it's a squeeze but doable - Just pull the old one off, unscrew it and replace it with the new one. Put the connectors back on the battery and there will be no more "Check Engine" light!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • old

Actually works for spares

I tried another knock sensor much cheaper than this one and it didn't work at all and was marked as OEM. So I bit the bullet and spent extra money to get this really real one and I replaced the old sensor with this one myself in about 5 minutes. It worked immediately and is still working after 9 months.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Interval

I replaced the knock sensor on a 2003 Honda CRV.

Replaced the knock sensor on a 2003 Honda CRV EX without removing the manifold. It took longer to lift the car and put it on stands. However, I need the right tools and I've studied online DIY videos and read many comments to make sure it's done right. I was able to reset the codes and smoke the car afterwards. Since then, the P0325 error has not appeared again.

Pros
  • Great option for me
Cons
  • not reliable

It costs a little more, but it works!

I went on eBay and Revain and saw that there are many options ranging from $8 to $20. I read on a forum that the Ep3 is pretty finicky so I went to the Autozone and paid $56 for the OEM. I drove about 2 km and the light came on again. I've seen this one at Revain which was a bit more expensive but cheaper than someone else making it. Bought, installed, installed and the problem is solved. I drove it about 600 km and the light never came on again. So I think it really works!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Volume

Works great on my 2005 Honda!

Works great. My 2005 Honda has a check engine light on. Code p0325, after a little research it turned out to be a knock sensor. I called the Honda dealer and told me $110 for it. After searching Amazon I found it for about $55 and bought it. It took me about 45 minutes to install. The check engine light no longer lights up. and my E works much better. I had to buy a 1-1/16" socket to remove and install the knock sensor. There are videos on YouTube showing the uninstall and install steps.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not fashionable

This one worked, the other one didn't

I'm glad this sensor worked. Got code 325 on my 2006 Accord. I tried to save some money and install another brand first but it didn't work. I was worried it might be something more serious but when I put it in it worked. Note: If you have an Accord, just plan on removing the intake manifold to install this, you'll save yourself a lot of frustration. from trying to circumvent it. Trust me I've spent more time messing around with extensions and long pliers and still got the air intake off. It was

Works great, just as advertised, fits 2003 Acura RSX base.

I'm glad to confirm that this is a genuine Honda OEM product, complete with the packaging/stamp. I had a P0325 code on my base 2003 Acura RSX 1 month + 400 miles later and the code has not returned since. Of course you can buy the regular one on ebay for $4. But as I suspected after replacing my old one with this one, my gas mileage increased significantly, going from 20-25mpg to at least 24-31 depending on highway use. I am sure that these investments will pay off several times over the years…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
