Stupid design. Buy yourself another 7 inch lid.

Stainless steel insert for 3 liter instant pot is 5 inches high. This lid adds 3 inches of height so you now need 8 inches of height to store it in the fridge. Stupid design. Get another 7 inch lid that is flatter. Take it? This lid is more than half the height of the pot.

Turns my pressure cooker into a real slow cooker!

My God! My Instant Pot electric pressure cooker really looks like a slow cooker now! I like what I see in the slow cooking process now. It fits perfectly in my 6 liter instant pot! It has a little vent so the condensation doesn't spill over and shake the top like my old slow cooker did. Very well done!

Pros
  • understandable for the old

exploded! Danger. Attention

This lid just exploded out of nowhere! Luckily nobody was in the kitchen. I was in the living room when I heard the sound of glass breaking in the kitchen. I went to check and it was this lid that just exploded throwing very small pieces of glass everywhere. Nothing fell on her. There was nothing more. This was at room temperature. The explosion came out of nowhere. Now the problem is that the whole kitchen is full of broken glass. I've had this lid for over a year now and use it for cooking in

Clear Lid for Multicooker Function in Multicooker

The concept itself is great, now you can replace your multicooker's all-metal locking lid with a clear glass lid with venting, allowing you to use the Instant Pot as a multicooker. The reality is different. Due to the way the Instant Pot works (pressure cooking), it is not well suited to slow cooking and this is a known issue with the product. The heating element in the Instant Pot is entirely on the bottom, and the stainless steel "bath" in which the food is cooked does not evenly distribute…

This lid is *great* and the perfect accessory for your Instant Pot! It fits *on the inner pot*, *not* the outer bowl, and essentially allows you to slow cook, stew, and steam without using an outer "main lid" so you can see what's in there goes. .As others have said you can also use the inner pan to store food in the fridge after cooking as this clear lid in turn fits on the inner pot. While you can't use the lid during pressure cooking, you can use it to cover and store the inner pot of food…

This is a good product BUT SEVERAL USES (see below)

So this review is difficult because I bought this product thinking I would use it for either slow cooking or covering our food, while she is sitting. Neither do I. But this product is well made and fits. It also has a small vapor vent in the lid that releases just enough vapor so it doesn't bounce off vapor buildup. SLOW COOKING (NO): My IP is not very good at slow cooking. In fact, slow cooking is so slow that it probably takes about twice as long as using a slow cooker (which I got rid of…

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Suitable for the slow cooker as advertised and unlocks new features with this pot such as B. slow simmering and steaming vegetables before adding other ingredients to complete the recipe etc. As far as I know the lockable pressure cooker lid works well if your cooking experience is limited or you are in a hurry, push the button, close the Cover and assume everything is working properly. However, if you want to cook in a more traditional way, like cooking on a stovetop, but with very precise and
