Absolutely Perfect Replacement Parts

Incredibly, ball joints must come from the OE for your safety. Get what you pay for here, don't save a few bucks and regret later. enough for 200k if you drive sensibly

OEM TOYOTA in spare parts

Genuine Toyota part. Tried with Mevotech. They only lasted 2 years and 25,000 miles. Use genuine Toyota parts for ball joints and tie rods. They cost more, but you'll only get the job done once. 2000 4runners.

Good replacement part

This is a genuine OEM part perfect for my 4WD 2000 4Runner. Installation wasn't too difficult, I used a Pittman arm puller to remove the outer tie rod end and old ball joint. When reinstalling, I had difficulty tightening the tie rod end castle nut because the bolt kept turning in the bushing. The trick is to push it with a bottle jack.

These are original Toyota lower ball joints. Don't make the mistake like me of buying aftermarket lower ball joints. Cheap aftermarket ball joints just don't last like real Toyotas and can end up costing you dearly. I broke a year old cheaper aftermarket link while driving deep off-road, what a nightmare! After that I replaced both sides with original Toyotas. The other side, not broken, the year old aftermarket ball joint was very loose and worn. I will never skimp on ball joints again. You'll
