Genuine Toyota Accessories 74101 AE010 Ashtray Review

I have several of these ashtrays. I use them as ashtrays in the car and in the yard. I like them a lot because as soon as I close the lid the smoke goes away and the room seems less smelly. The one I use on the patio has lasted just over two years which I think is great. I would like an easier way to wash the inside. The one I use in my car has lasted a very long time. many years.

Great quality but not as deep as I thought. It fits perfectly in one of the dual cup holders in front of the transmission in my 2015 Toyota Yaris SE. Rubberized sidewalls and a raised ring on the edges ensure a snug fit with no rattling. It's too small for the large cup holder between the seats and doesn't fit in any of the cup holders on the front door. It also pairs perfectly with those two front cup holders. Great product for storing coins and/or other small items.

While this ashtray fits perfectly in my 17 Tacoma's cup holder, it didn't even last a month of use, which is crazy considering the price compared to other options. I've only ever used original ashtrays in my cars because they usually last the life of the car and are also perfect as cup holders. First, the foam ring around the lid was never properly aligned, causing the ashtray to smell (much different than real smoke for those unfamiliar).
