Review on Genuine Toyota Accessories 74101 AE010 Ashtray by Justin Verslues

While this ashtray fits perfectly in my 17 Tacoma's cup holder, it didn't even last a month of use, which is crazy considering the price compared to other options. I've only ever used original ashtrays in my cars because they usually last the life of the car and are also perfect as cup holders. First, the foam ring around the lid was never properly aligned, causing the ashtray to smell (much different than real smoke for those unfamiliar). Second, one of the hinges, or whatever you want to call it, just fell out of nowhere, I'm not using excessive force to close the lid or anything. This is a poorly made cap and not worth $20. This makes me question the quality of other genuine Toyota parts that I've unfortunately looked at.
