🔥 Genuine Toyota PTR03-00140 Cold Air Intake System for Enhanced Performance Review

I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra SR5 TRD Offroad. This kit fits perfectly / the instructions are correct. Be sure to tighten the clamp 30 inches. and you are done. That's good for a 1-2mpg increase, so disconnect the battery so it can relearn the air-fuel ratio.

This item is not worth the money. The only difference between this and the stock air intake is a slightly larger filter and air box, and a rubberized air horn instead of plastic. Looks cool I'd say with the TRD badge and red hoses, but the difference in performance isn't worth $50 let alone $400. TRD has a kit that uses the old bottom half of the airbox I thought. cheesy. Be sure to buy a new rubber horn and use it with the stock air intake and save the money for something else.

Item was sent and received quickly and well packaged. Installation was very easy. The instructions were well done and provided with photos for each step. The entire installation took less than an hour and was easier than I expected. All the parts fit together perfectly and I feel comfortable knowing that it was designed by Toyota and is TRD quality. Extremely high quality OEM caliber kit. As expected. Excellent guide. Not sure if a performance benefit will be realized. The intake groan is now audible at WOT, only adds to the driving experience if you like that kind of thing. Perhaps using genuine Toyota parts will help avoid warranty service problems in the future.
