You can see the difference!

I have had my Germ Guardian air purifier for almost a year now. I have changed the carbon pre-filters several times to extend the life of the HEPA filter. You can tell the difference in a filter with a year of good maintenance and frequent vacuuming. it works!

Activated carbon filter seems cheaper than before

I had the filter replaced about a year ago. longer than recommended. But the activated carbon filter this time is much more difficult than before. Not sure why, but it was noticed that the charcoal filter at the top of the filter was also a little wrinkled. The box was not damaged in any way, so it cannot be related to shipping. Maybe it's the packaging. In any case, the filter works perfectly, there is no smell either, which is very good. The HEPA filter is the same as before.

This is an air filter. I believe it filters the air, I haven't tested that.

This is a HEPA air filter for the unit I use in my bedroom at night to help me sleep. After about 6 months of use I had to replace the worn out filter with a new one. This fits the bill. I think it cleans and filters the air, the filter looks shabby in fights. So put a new one in and I think it does its job and cleans the air I breathe. I don't know if it works against Covid or not, but I don't risk it. Thanks to two working air filters, both HEPA and my air conditioner at home with a HEPAโ€ฆ

Identical AC4100 replacement filters

Bought this 'E' type replacement filter for our Germ Guardian AC4100 (smaller which looks more like a speaker). I've had the air purifier for about a year, but it's only been officially in use for about 5 months. Both filters were pretty dirty so it was time to replace them. As far as I can tell, this was the original filter set for our air purifier. Looks just like the old filters (minus all the nasty stuff) and fits in the air purifier just like that. I've had the new filters for half a dayโ€ฆ

The air filter materials have recently been changed and seem to work much better

I've been buying these for a few years now and they just changed the way the black filter is made. I'm not a fan of new material at first sight. It looks like a cheaper quality material I've never seen in a HEPA filter before. Now I'm happy with the changes so far. I'm still not sure if the overall quality of the filter has deteriorated as a result of the change. I also wonder if the white filter design has become cheaper. I've been very happy with Gem Guardian so far. UPDATE: I've had this new
