Owner of a performance training gym and bought this rope to have a 2nd and also for something a little bit easier for smaller hands to manage. We've had it now for almost a year and it's held up great (no fraying or other issues) and very much served its purpose. Still a little stiffer than our 2" rope but has loosened up with use. I only give this product a four start (4.5 if I could) only because when I took the rope out of the packaging it seemed like a part of the rope got messed up or dethreaded in one small section of the rope. I contacted the customer support for return and they ended letting me keep the rope and refunded me anyways! I'm very satisfied with this rope. I read a few comments before buying and most folks were recommending 1.5" over the 2" width, but I will do the opposite. I will also recommend the longer 50' rope. I'm getting a good workout using this rope for 25 minutes and my routine consists of 20 seconds intervals followed by 10 seconds rest. I break a sweat but since I'm not feeling exhausted I'm going to buy the 50' 2" and leaves the current one to my children (teenagers). I recommend this product.

My two young sons really wanted me to get them a tug of war rope. So I decided to buy the 30’ x 1.5” rope thinking they can use for tug of war and I could use for exercise. They started fraying the first time I used them. I used them for about an hour and as you can see from the pictures they are fraying pretty bad. The fraying is right where the rope hits the ground. I was guessing it is probably because I am using them on carpet. If you are planning on using them on carpet you may have similar results. I am so very pleased with this product. I bought this to use in my garage gym. 30 ft works great. My husband is 6ft and the length works for him as well. I wanted the 2.0 but it wasn't prime. However, the 1.5 is challenging as well. My hubby is a bodybuilder and can still get a good cardio workout. Hope this helps! Additionally, the rope's look, design, and quality are great. :)

Good solid rope. Wish I'd had room for the 20', but these will still allow my wifwife d kids to use. Wish that the center pad would have been centered on the rope so I didn't have to.This came on the last day of delivery that was stated at purchase. I purchased the 1.5 x 30' ft. rope based on a review that I would get more versatile use out of it. Turns out that it is too short for me to use for standard 'battle rope workouts'. My arms may look like wet noodles but let me tell you. When I get to swinging these ropes I feel like a warrior. I scream, swing and get exhausted. One day I’ll be big and strong all thanks to these ropes

If you want to break in the rope because you feel they're stiff, then you just have to use them a few times for that to happen. After 10 uses, the rope feel looser yet a bit too much as it's already breaking apart in certain areas. I had to use some electrical tapes so the rope is sill flexible yet cover areas that tend to smack the ground most often. Still good if it's your first rope and need other equipement.

If you want or need a battle rope this one will do the job. It is big so consider your workout space. If you have a garage your good to go. If your doing your thing in an apartment you might have to make space. The weight of the rope for me at least is perfect. The quality is really good. Only issue like I said is size, mine is in the garage so no issue. You could easily take in the backyard and wrap around a tree or something though. Love it. 5 stars.

I’m not sure that I would recommend.If your looking for a cheap rope, then sure.It was already beginning to unravel when I pulled it out of the box.If you plan on using the rope daily, then I would recommend spending a few more dollars for one that is more sturdy!The rope was a bit lighter than expected, but that’s on me.

Whoops, I should have checked the length of my basement before I purchased because this barely fits in my house! LOL. I have never ending knee issues so I have a hard time getting a cardio workout and this is great for that and a full upper body workout. I love it.

I have been debating on getting battle ropes to add to my workout and I am a beginner. I found these and decided to get them and only after 1 use they started to fray. I don't think these are going to last me and I am either going to have to give up on adding battle ropes or purchase another set from somewhere else. I'd say if you were thinking about getting these, I'd keep looking.
