GG Grand General 76896 Sealed Light (4&#34 Review

It's pretty weak, sorry to be honest. Intended use was on the bed of a commercial tarmac truck, I drive a lot at night and have to reverse quite often, up to a mile on black roads. They don't cut mustard as they dimly illuminate the back of my van as I've been using it as an extra overhead light.

Some people notice that they are labeled as tail lights and brake/turn signals on the packaging. This is true, but they are white lights designed to be used with red lenses. I replaced the headlights on the tractor with these. I just connected the tail and brake/swing connectors together. You could turn them into high/low beam if you wanted to lol. They're not the brightest, but good for the price. They are lighter than the soldered bars that came on the tractor.

I thought this bulb was a "super bright" cool white color. It is not. It has a "medium to low" brightness and produces a warm white light. It's also advertised as a "backup lamp" (external lamp) but if you look at the back of the lamp it says "for internal use only". Due to the high LED count, the pompous product description and the higher price, I thought I'd get what I needed - disappointed. Excuse me.
