Sounds a lot better than the standard

I've read all of these reviews and seen it rust very easily, but I decided to buy it because I'm in a I live in a dry area. The sound is amazing! It has a deep rumble, it's not very loud and it doesn't buzz at all. The only thing I wasn't very happy with was the exhaust tips. The exhaust tips are huge, I can put my whole fist in them That being said, it's a pretty good silencer for what you're paying for.

Pros
  • 2.50". Bent pipe with aluminized mandrel
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great Product: Exhaust Systems and Parts

Great Product! I just installed my exhaust as soon as I got it in the mail. The only thing that was a little painful was removing the stock exhaust. I used a grinder and saw to cut off the exhaust because it was so rusty. Installing the Gibson exhaust was no problem. The sound is amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Not too loud, but not too quiet either. It's not at all annoying when driving, but you can definitely hear it when accelerating or accelerating.

Pros
  • Jeep: Dual Split Cat-Back Exhaust, Aluminized
Cons
  • Out of Style

Gibson Exhaust in Exhaust Systems

Great deep throaty starting sound. Definitely gives you the aggressive sound you want without being overpowering when driving. Not annoying, as some say, if you understand that. It will be much louder than stock. I painted it matte black with a high temp spray gun and it came out amazingly well. Don't waste your money on black when you can just spray it if you want a flat black system. The worst part of the installation is removing the stock exhaust hangers. After that, installing a new system…

Pros
  • Proudly made in USA
Cons
  • No Automatic

Good product, easy installation

Got the exhaust pipe today and after reading how long it takes to remove the old one I was limited in time but I'll continue anyway. Sprayed with coat hangers and a WD40 exhaust, used a pry bar and it was all stripped down in minutes. The Gibson exhaust was easy to install, the clamp that came with it didn't hold up well so I cut the weld on the flat clamp on the original exhaust, cut the opposite edge on the Gibson from the manufacturer and put it all back in a second time. . Worked great…

Pros
  • Muffler design with baffles and chambers, no inner packaging, minimal internal hum, aggressive sound
Cons
  • Upgrades
