Not Worth the Hassle

As a networking product for my computers, I had high hopes for this hub... However, as a result of my tests I determined that the performance was lackluster at best. While the driver-free setup was convenient, the overall hassle of dealing with this slow and unreliable hub outweighed any benefit it might have had..

Pros
  • Driver-free setup
Cons
  • Poor performance, unreliable

The standoffs and bolts provided are not a regular 2.5mm, so I used my own standoffs, nuts (which are used as washers) and bolts for assembly. Once installed, it worked fine with low power devices (keyboard, mouse), but didn't provide enough power to the SSD in the USB enclosure. Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • The list will be long.
