Description of GIGABYTE 2TB M.2 SSD GP-ASM2NE6200TTTD

PCIe Gen 4 dual-sided copper heat sink SSD Form factor (dimensions, mm): M.2 2280 Interface: PCI-Express 4.0x4, NVMe 1.3 Declared capacity: 2000 GB Sequential read speed: up to 5000 MB/s Sequential write speed: up to 4400 MB/s Wear Compensation & Over-Provision Technology Support for TRIM and S.M.A.R.T Full Size Copper Heat Sink Warranty: Limited 5 Year World''s First PCIe 4.0 x4 Controller World''s First Phison PS5016-E16 PCIe 4.0 x4 Bus Interface Controller (28nm photolithography process), has sufficient computing power to process ECC requests of high-speed 3D TLC NAND flash memory chips. Using the PCIe 4.0 interface, the controller operates 8 channels with respect to 32 MS NAND, and DDR4 DRAM memory is used for data caching. The device supports the NVMe 1.3 protocol, is capable of performing error correction using LDPC and RAID ECC, has technologies for reserving separate areas for the needs of the drive and wear leveling, in order to increase the reliability and durability of the product, as well as advanced AES-256 / TCG OPAL 2.0 and Pyrite encryption algorithms . Fast, high-quality NAND Flash MS (Selective Sampling) TOSHIBA BiCS4 96-layer 3D TLC (800 Mtransactions/s) The circuitry and architecture have been optimized specifically for Toshiba BiCS4 NAND flash memory chips, the number of layers has been increased to 96 to achieve an increase in memory capacity per unit area. The 800 MT/s throughput of the AORUS NVMe Gen 4 SSD far exceeds the performance of PCIe 3.0 x4 devices and offers great potential for next-generation high-speed storage applications. Extreme Disk PerformanceEquipped with a new high-speed PCIe 4.0 controller, the AORUS NVMe Gen 4 SSD delivers fast sequential read/write speeds of up to 5000MB/s and up to 4400MB/s, respectively (serial reads are up to 40% faster compared to PCIe 3.0 SSDs). Take your computing to the next level with the new disk subsystem, delivering consistent gameplay and high-quality rendering in graphics and media editing applications. Full-Length Copper Heatsink for Extreme PCIe 4.0 SSD PerformanceThe full-length copper heatsink successfully dissipates heat to cool the front and rear key components (controller and NAND flash MC). The thermal conductivity of a pure copper heatsink is 69% higher than that of a heatsink made of aluminum and its alloys. Thus, for the AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD,

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Good packing Pros: Beautiful, it's a pity in my case it's behind the video card Fast. Very. Even too Huge radical Its cons: I was worried about the thickness of the radiator, because I have an m2 slot immediately under the PCI-E for video, but everything fit

Delivered to work - so it was not possible to immediately look at the condition. In general, I'll come home - I'll look at the resource of the disk. : it seems that the Chinese do not wash their hands). The resource was 0-th by the hour, the truth is confusing 24GB of recording.

Pros
  • A massive copper heatsink that covers the disk from all sides, the volume and the number of declared TBW. Mega speed was not needed, stopped at 5k
Cons
  • Despite the fact that the box was soldered by the factory, it seems that the disk was used. Well, or by fingerprints on the radiator, you can find the Chinese that packed it.

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

TRIM does not work on Linux systems. Over time, the speed decreases, the disk thinks that everything is clogged. Trim does not plow. Official technical support at esupport. Gigabyte. Com makes banal replies, such as that AHCI must be enabled and the OS must support it. it’s easy with them, given that before that I wrote that other SSDs, NVME on the same OS work without problems. I concluded that people from the 3rd grade of education are sitting there, who have not seen anything further than…

Pros
  • speed, cooling
Cons
  • No support from Gigabyte. TRIM does not work on Linux. warms up.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I took it to work at home in UE4, in 3D modeling and work in graphic editors, so as not to experience a shortage of drive capacity. At work 2 days. While everything suits, it works smartly. Shaders in UE4 are considered fast. (I took it for 29630 in a store that is not in the market.) (Motherboard Gygabyte Aorus Elite x570, in a ventilated Super Tower case. 2 fans in + 2 fans out.)

Pros
  • Speed Capacity Claimed service life
Cons
  • heavy Expensive (toad strangled)

Rebuilt a new computer because of him: his blue screen (experimentally determined that he gave errors when overheated above 58 degrees or any load on the disk) made me take a new case, PSU, RAM, motherboard, hard drive and CPU with fan. So if you start to see the WHEA error - blame this gentleman for everything.
