Great board! on internal components

Easy to install and beautiful to look at. It has a built-in LED, but note that the UD only has a color LED and can be turned on or off. If you want to be able to change the colors of the LEDs on your board, or if you want to change the light to blink or something like that, check out one of the slightly more expensive Z390 boards. This board is ready to use with the new 9th Gen Intel processors, and installing both the physical board and drivers is easy. CMOS could be better (to make it easier…

Ordered two: Motherboards

I ordered two of these boards and know they are cheap but I can't get either board to boot with the graphics card installed on it. I can load the integrated graphics of my 8700k. I've tried everything there is to try in the bios including loading other PCI slots and enabling/disabling the onboard graphics. Twice tried to exchange graphics card and power supply because I thought it must be one and no. Two motherboards with the same issue, I was expecting a slightly better build quality. I've…

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Long time

Board works with my G.Skill Ripjaws 14 CAS 3200MHz memory. This is the RAM that has been targeted at Ryzen due to the very tight deadlines and many reviews of boards from different manufacturers. Above 2666MHz the RAM initially didn't work without issues until July 2019 when I updated the BIOS to the latest version at the time of writing this review. My 4.8GHz 8600K runs at 1.3V with no problems. I didn't try to go beyond that because it's a base board and I don't put crazy amounts of air…

Used for my first full build, very user friendly

Last week I finished my first build for any game using this motherboard in combination with: Intel i5-9600K 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3000 RamEVGA FTW3 1080Ti HybridCorsair H100i Liquid Cooler512GB HP nVME SSDCorsair ML120 FanCorsair Spec-Alpha Case The motherboard was very easy to install the first time and it was easy for me to go through the manual to figure out where everything goes. The BIOS was relatively easy to understand, although it took me a while to make sure everything was…

Decent phone for $$ but had serious problems

I jumped between 2 and 3 stars but got 3 stars because although I've had similar complaints about this phone at Gigabyte and others Haven't seen forums I don't think my problems are normal. The mobo was easy to install and setup, very well packaged and all that, but I had trouble getting dual channel DDR to work. By problems I mean the BIOS doesn't even boot and the DRAM LED stays on (this happens after it toggles between CPU and DRAM, sometimes reboots but always ends up on DRAM with no image…

Best Budget Intel Motherboard

This was a solid, very forgiving motherboard for a first build. Everything went together smoothly and after a double check, the system booted up perfectly the first time I turned it on. I've used the following in my build and they all work well so far: - Cougar MX330-G mid-tower case with tempered glass window - Intel Core i5-9400 (6-core 2.9GHz with integrated graphics) - Corsair semi-modular PSU CX550M 80+ Bronze 550W - 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 (3000Hz) RAM - yes I like lots of RAM

Pros
  • Highest support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Excellent mid-range board for the money.

I bought this motherboard for an upgrade (upgraded from ASRock e3 and OCed i5-2750k) on Black Friday, but only got around to installing new hardware a few weeks ago. I have to say that I am very satisfied with this product. I'd say it's probably your best bet for a 390 chipset motherboard if you don't want to spend more than $150. Quality components, good slot placement, good features and supports 9th Gen Intel chips if you decide to upgrade later (a BIOS update may be required). Also…

Quality without frills.

I bought this for a new build based on Intel 9700K. I was a bit worried about the power consumption as some reviews said other brands struggle to deliver the performance of high-end 9th Gen processors. They said there would be no problems with it, although I prefer a different brand. I will do this review in reverse order. What you don't get: USB-C – While this is a chipset feature, it's just a port. If you really need USB-C, you'll have to buy an additional card from Gigabyte, which will…
