Description of Gikfun AE1207 12V DC Peristaltic Dosing Pump with Connector - Ideal for Arduino Aquarium, Lab Analysis, DIY Projects

Motor RPM: 5000RPM, Volts:DC 12V, Flow rate:0-100 ml/min, Tube size: 2mm ID x 4mm OD, Relative humidity <80%. With Snap-in type design, it is easy to remove the pump head, very convenient for pump tube replacement and cleaning. The compact design not only has the convenience of press type, but also avoids many problems such as the movement of the press type pump head hose. This pump is widely used, family watering, experiment liquid dispensing, chemical liquid transport etc. The latest version of the pump head will be changed to 1 hole, easier to use. This link does not include the drive in the picture and needs to be purchased separately.

Repurposed but still worked like a champ

I replaced the tube with a slightly larger tube (4mm I think 2mm ID) and set it for intermittent water with a float switch. The float switch failed and this pump ran dry for about a month. During that time he rubbed a hole in the hose but when I checked the engine was still running as if nothing had happened. Of everything in my system, the motor and bearing of this dosing pump would be the last to fail: a good product.

  • Easy setup

Does a good job! Best in Category Fish & Aquatic Pets

I have this motor that pulls liquid hand washing soap as part of a science fair project for my kid. It works great on a 12v battery and the soap that comes out is just perfect for my project. Tip: The pipe used for the aquarium air filter is perfect for this! So visit the pet shop and pick up the phone there! You won't find it in any hardware store. A few things I would ask the seller for would make it a BEST.1. Can you put an arrow symbol to determine which way is in and which way is out? 2…

Silicone hose torn after 2 weeks

The silicone tubing on all my pumps ruptured and leaked within 2 weeks of purchase. Luckily my application is for feed water and the pump tube is easy to replace otherwise I would have returned them and given them a lower rating. At 12 VDC, the actual flow rate (no ramp) is closer to 6070 mL/min. The suction is strong enough to maintain that flow rate with my 50mm lift setup. Overall I'm satisfied, I would only recommend buyers to have spare silicone hoses with 4mm OD and 2mm ID on hand. *Note.

QUIET, GOOD LITTLE PUMP.

Arrived quickly, safe and sound. The pump is very quiet and seems to work very well. I pumped out 1 gallon of water using a 10ft pipe (too much, just for testing). Based on a flow rate of 100 mL/min, it should take approximately 25 minutes to pump a gallon. Took me about an hour, but there have been incidents (the hose hasn't been submerged in water for a while, etc.), so I think it should work roughly as advertised, non-stop. I use it for wine making so I'm wondering if the pipes are ok (in…
