Excellent soldering practice

Good product, excellent soldering practice and works as expected. The schematic is a nice plus, but you should also have included a detailed explanation of how the circuit works.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

fun kit! Electronics

I had a problem when I turned on the power, it didn't work. Went back to my soldering and it cured the problem. Great board design and layout. I will be getting one for my granddaughter to try her soldering skills.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Well tolerated, strange sound signal

The set was assembled without problems. However, if it starts beeping after 60 seconds, the beeping will disappear. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Great practice for my son!

My son put this together in about an hour. He has excelled in his electronics class and his teacher has given him extra credit for everything he does at home. This has become a great exercise for him.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Some flaws

good sentence. Some instructions are missing.

Easy assembly. Lots of pretty tight solder joints but well laid out. The PC board is well made. The instructions aren't that bad, but could be better. There are no instructions for use, only assembly. Not a big problem as it's fairly simple and the switches are clearly labeled on the board. I'm not sure what the finished product is good for. Maybe for the timing of the moves in the game?

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good soldering project

This board has a lot of good soldering experience and its functionality is very easy to test and verify. The instructions were clear and overall as easy as putting together a 100 piece soldering project. It comes with a USB power cable, which is very useful for actual use and testing. All in all, if I want to build a board just to practice soldering through, this is the best choice.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • It makes me angry

Fun project, handy packaging

This is a fun project. It contains a significant number of connection points, many of which are close together, which is good practice. It includes some spare LEDs as one or two will likely fail so you can practice desoldering and rewiring. The only thing I'm taking off a star for is that without the protective styrofoam the chips are loose in the bag, so ALSO learn how to bend the pins back into shape and try to get the chip through the holes - something, maybe not meant to teach you, but it…

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Almost never

Good quality, be careful with delivery.

I enjoyed building this project, it was very well thought out compared to previous soldering projects. Unfortunately, the shipping method was to drop it off in a padded envelope in a bag with a different chipset. Upon arrival, most of the pins were bent on various components and were sticking out in the bag. I figured everything would probably still work decently, so I built the project anyway. Apparently something happened during shipping, I've checked all sorts of values and it still doesn't…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Can be damaged
