Everyone please stay away from crappy product. There are better options

Black plastic strap fell off after several uses. A closer look reveals that they are attached to the helmet with a pair of adhesive pads. It's not worth my kid getting hurt because of it. It's been a few months and I can't return it. Everyone please stay away from crappy product. There are better ways.

A delightful helmet that will grow with your child.

I read many reviews before buying. If you're like me, look no further. This helmet is built to last and will grow with your child. My son was 10 months old when I bought him. There is so much room for growth. That being said, while safe from afar, it appears big because of the growth potential it allows for. The helmet adjusts easily to provide a secure fit, is breathable and feels comfortable (my son doesn't try to take it off). My son wears sunglasses with a helmet but the visor reduces theโ€ฆ

NOT safe for your baby

The part of the bassinet that is designed to fit snugly against your baby's head easily separates from the foam part. It's barely held in place by very small Velcro straps that do absolutely nothing. The helmet is meant to stay in position to protect your little one's hood in the event of a fall, but doesn't it even stay in the position it's supposed to be in? The cradle literally separates from the foam helmet. To be honest I don't know how this helmet met any safety standards. I am aโ€ฆ

Inner strap is too easy to remove (velcro and glue)

As some other negative reviews have noted, the inner strap that goes around the head attaches to the helmet itself with velcro. If a child is in a bike seat or trailer that has any objects around their head (e.g. a headrest) the back of the helmet will catch and the helmet will basically detach from the head and secure it with an internal strap around the head and the helmet hangs off the face. This is because the velcro does not have enough grip on the strap and the velcros detach themselvesโ€ฆ

Nice helmet, not sure if it's good for a baby.

I'm giving this helmet four stars because I don't think it should be called a baby helmet at all. We bought this for our 10 month old to ride in our bike trailer. The helmet comes with an adjustable back strap that fits your head. It fits but the problem is that there is a big gap between the strap (back of the head) and the back of the helmet. This means her head is tilted forward and down when seated in the trailer. So I think it's a big security risk for them. Her head is in the 50thโ€ฆ

Perfect fit for our 1 year old

We bought this for our thirteen month old and it fits him perfectly. To give you an idea of size, at his doctor's appointment last month his head circumference was 18.5 inches (74th percentile). I would say he could have had a slightly smaller head and still be fit. He also has room to grow; I suspect he'll wear it until he's at least two and a half, maybe three. I'm actually a bit jealous of this helmet - it's so much better than mine. It's really easy to adjust, so each time we take it off we
