    Size up and don't count on longevity

    I wear men's size 10. The large was very tight and worn to the toes after a couple of bike rides. The X-Large fit well and started wearing through the fingers after about 4 rides. Other socks don't have this problem.

    Useless outerwear

    These cold-weather cycling socks aren't worth the money. I rode them yesterday in 34 degrees and my feet are frozen. Maybe it's handy for lounging around your house, but definitely not for cycling in cold weather. Very disappointed! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    No more than a few uses

    Toes and heels wear out and puncture after a few uses. I've bought several pairs and they all had holes in them after a few uses. I can wear cheap regular socks (or even athletic socks) for 8,000 miles without a single puncture. Simply put, these socks are expensive and will break after a few uses. Save your money, they are rubbish.

    Comfortable socks but not durable

    I love these Giro winter socks. They're comfortable and warm without being heavy. I've bought several pairs over the past few years. However, they do NOT last. The paragraph wears out in a driving season

    Good winter socks for outdoor recreation

    I wanted yellow-green socks, they are lighter in the picture than they really are. They're more of a muted yellow-green, but that's okay. Wondering if it's difficult to dye wool light yellow? They are comfortable and keep my feet warm and I recommend them.

    Comfortable but not warm.

    I bought them to ride in the cold and they didn't do a very good job. Now my feet are getting colder than usual but I don't see them working on a 40 degree day. They are comfortable and I will use them for regular trips but not on cold days.

    Modified since 2016 good for men

    The Giro Merino wool winter socks advertised here are not the same as in previous years. I received this pair today and compared to the 2016 pair and the new model they are maybe 1/2 thicker than the 2016 model! They won't keep my cold toes warm while cycling, so come back. Too bad because the 2016 socks were the warmest I've ever found.
