The claw itself is great but the screws provided are not strong enough to fit into one without removal Screwing ceiling joists.I pushed the screws almost all the way into the joist before they started having problems but the screws won't tighten any further so the handle wobbles a bit instead of securing.I would attribute it to user error except I got a hung a few other things on these beams and these screws do a great job.

The original unit had aluminum brackets with rubber pads for a bike wheel. It has plastic handles, not rubber. I set it up perfectly oriented just like the original, but no matter how I hang the bike on the hooks, it ends up facing the door and leaning to the left. With the original suspension, the bike was always pointed straight at the wall with the rear wheel at least 6-8 inches to the right of where it is now pointing.
