We paired a set of 3 of these models with a ravelli tripod car to take them to the track. Strong body, smooth ride. The VFX team was very happy with the results as it was easy to follow the movement in post - no shake.

I used them with PVC pipe. They had a bit of resistance so it takes 2 people to get a smooth flow but overall they are very happy. You are versatile with the new baby doll if you are looking for a cheap route.

I like the brackets and wheels but not the bearings. Bearings do not rotate freely. I bought these wheels to use on a tripod trolley and on a slider for smooth shooting when shooting short films. If the bearings aren't spinning freely, causing the wheels to slide a lot instead of rolling, it becomes difficult to get smooth footage.

If you're in a bind and looking for a last minute tracking shot I'd recommend this. For less than $100 I was able to purchase all the necessary parts needed to make the car. Luckily I have some hangers and two cast iron pipes to use. I would say if you don't have rails you can buy 2 x 20 foot 1" wood rails at your local hardware store.

Smooth as butter. Haven't used much yet, just some testing, but have tested different types of wheels on tracks. However, you need to buy three tripod kits and also a professional Ravelli ATD. Remove wheels and replace with Glide Gear GW100. This allows you to adjust the size of the base for different tracks, and the cost of such a configuration is very small.

Trucks only come individually to get enough to be useful 3 or more must be purchased Seller does not specify this in the description so stability and strength may yet not be tested as it will take until April 24th to get enough trucks to make a working tripod. The seller must make it clear and sell a set of 3 or 4 types of rice for a correct rice comparison to be made. Looks good but it will be a month before I see the product working well.

I found them a bit pricey but worth it. I bought 3 of these to fit on a Ravelli tripod cart. We ran them on 1" (1.5" OD) 40 gauge PVC pipe. We were able to mount a professional Manfrotto tripod with a 32lb camera on the track and did some of the smoothest tracking shots I've ever seen. . At first the film crew laughed at my DYI track system, but after filming they admired it.

There's a lot there. This is NOT a set of 3 as the description and picture would suggest. This is the ONLY mount that holds 4 wheels connected with some kind of tube. most likely ABS pipes. So you need to order 3 of them for one tripod. Not the smoothest of the mechanisms in my opinion. Strong metal, nuts and bolts but the wheels lack the smoothness that makes the purchase ideal. I keep the ones I bought and take others closer from other sources.
