I had to remove some of the trim in the wheel arches on my car to fit new fenders. The parts I had to remove were held together with very strong clamps. With the plastic tools I was able to remove them without damaging the paint. I have some trim left that I'll be removing soon and I'm confident I can do this without leaving any tool marks.

So not sure if you should use softer plastic to protect the panels you are trying to lift? I had bruises on some of the panels which were harder to remove on my 2021 Tundra. I think black would be a better color for them and maybe a harder plastic? However, they worked, I think they could have been designed better, that's all. I'm glad I have her. Trying to use this on some surfaces. I tried every detail that came with the kit - the plastic is too soft and pliable to actually pry off any trim. You cannot leverage it, the parts will bend, dent and fall apart when you try to use them for their intended purpose. If you're looking for a simple tool to get the job done, then this isn't it.

January 7, 20201 I have no complaints. The parts came as advertised and it took less than 5 minutes to install with this tool. I am very happy with my purchase. I have an old car and for a long time like Jimmy I installed an extra port that makes it heavier so I can listen to my own music. At some point a piece of the port broke off and I haven't been able to hear any music since then. I saw a YouTube video of a husband replacing a wife and it didn't look too difficult.
