I have many knives from all over the world and this is one of my favorites. Serrated knives work best for me and this one is the best of the best.

I can't say enough about Global Messer! You have to be very careful with these knives as they are very sharp. They are balanced and beautifully made. I have 8 of these knives and would highly recommend them to experienced chefs.

Global knives are as beautiful to look at as they are to use. They're lightweight and the textured handle won't slip in your hand. They are easy to clean and will not discolor or oxidize. It costs money for this lifetime investment.

I'm sure it's not the best knife. It might not even be the best in its price range. I know nothing about knives. But I do know for sure that this knife cuts through limes without pressure. And it will hit your finger too and you won't even know what's going on. Buy this knife when you need a sharp knife that will cut everything you need in your everyday cooking. But beware children.

This is my second in five years - bought a second one because the commie cook broke the top after the first year I had it , but he held the blade and was damn sharp. I'm a chef and I've cut a lot of bread in my life and that's what this knife is for. I'm NOT a fan of Globals and I'm sure there are better ones out there but so far this is my favorite!

I have had several Global knives for many years and am very happy with them, I also find that they are well designed which is one of the most important factors for me. I bought this knife and another recently to add to my gear and have not been disappointed at all. To sharpen knives, I use a Global sharpening stone that I bought many years ago. I think Global knives are good value for money and with proper care will last a lifetime.

Firm feel and perfect length. Bought to replace an old Ginsu that was lying on the knife stand almost like a fool, but at less than $50 it was a steal. The teeth are the perfect length to not bite or pull before the incision begins, but fleshy enough to get through. As always, you have before you the legendary world sharpness of the blade and the pristine steel. I love these knives and want more!

I love this knife! Very diverse. I like that it's small as I work as a line chef and cook online. I'm short on space so it's difficult to use an 8-10 inch chef's knife. It's also difficult to store a lot of tools in it, so being able to do multiple things with one knife is nice. Plus it's of amazing quality worldwide, feels good in your hand and hey if you work with other chefs like to show off your knives and this one is impressive without being overpriced. I would definitely buy again!
