These beauties are my second pair. My last pair lasted 7 years. The length is true to size but if you have a wide foot you will need to break them in as they will be tight at first. Slippers, nice dress shoes, whatever the reason, I offer them. Have a nice hunt

I bought these for my husband and apart from being a little tight for him (although we bought a size bigger than he wears) he loves them! I wish they had more color/style choices in their size but it really isn't their fault!

I've worn Castro for many years. After my dog decided my pair of red blankets (which should be back, Globe!) are chew toys, I found them. The red checkered version lasted me over ten years, two weeks before the threads on my right boot broke. I bought a second pair hoping it was a fluke but judging by the reviews this seems to be a fairly common problem with them these days. If they do the same, I'll go to the DC version and give it a try.

I had to change a shoe within a week of receiving it. Otherwise they are great. Use them as indoor shoes and they are perfect.

Not even 2 days old but appears to be badly torn! I'm a size 11.5 and I'm a size 12 and they were quite narrow. I have had many of these in the past and love them. But these are terrible. I definitely want a new pair sent out and no refund if possible.

Haven't worn them yet but the box was opened before the box was "opened". I've been observing the globe since 2002, so I KNOW some things have been missing. The brand sticker was missing. The paper in the box is like printer paper. but these are shoes. I hope it's not a fake. I will do some checks before wearing them. But cheer up

I have bought this shoe many times. Something must have changed in the production process. Shoes are now too narrow and small in length. I always ordered the same size and this time they didn't fit for the first time.

They replaced the lacing with lacing material instead of leather as before. They broke in less than a month. I took it to a shoe repair shop. check photo

This is the second pair, they have lasted me quite a while now (2+ years or daily use) and they are so comfortable and perfect for around the home or long trips.

The stitching on these shoes ripped after 2 months of wear. For that kind of cost, I would return them, but the return limit has just been exceeded.

These shoes are very comfortable but look like slippers, feel great, have great grip, look good and are fantastically durable. Ideal for walking around the house or shooting around town, a pair is highly recommended.

I order 1/2 inch smaller than where I buy my skateboard shoes. I love the skateboard shoes, but they were uncomfortable and although I couldn't size up or down, they were still loose and didn't fit very well. I returned them. and would not order again. I just ordered DC Villians to see if they fit better.

So far, so good. I've had them since Christmas and they are very comfortable. I've never owned slippers that looked more like "shoes" so I didn't know what to think of them. I've been watching them for a few years and they were on sale so I pulled the trigger. So far I have no complaints.

Not my first pair of Castros. I knew what to expect and this pair was pretty much the same as the previous one with one exception. The seam on the right boot has come undone. I was able to get them repaired but I don't think I need to do that when I'm buying a brand new product.

Unfortunately the processing of these shoes is very low because I like the look of the shoes very much. This is actually the second time I've bought this pair hoping the design flaw was an anomaly. It's not, it's the norm. On both pairs I've bought, the stitching that holds the entire shoe together comes out EVERY time I wear them. I bought these shoes as slippers. Yes. I don't skate and I love it. So I use it as a great slipper to run errands in from time to time. It's very comfortable, very stylish and fits great. I have huge feet (probably two) and a size 14 fits me (I wear a 13-16 depending on the brand/style). I don't know where or how they are made these days but it's not the same. I have 3 pairs of these. One is over 6 years old. The pair I just bought walked around the house for about half an hour before breaking into pieces. The original Castro is no longer advertised on their website. I suspect these are fakes, or they were sold in some sweatshop. In any case, they are garbage.

My 20 year old son wears these shoes and I buy these shoes every year for my elderly father and father in law to wear as slippers. They have incredible support, we are soft, great grip and very good foot stability. They both wear them every day and "sneak" out of the house with them as quickly as possible until their wife arrests them. I recommend them for all ages and all purposes. Perfect Slip-Ons. When it comes to slip-on/lounge shoes, the Globe Castros is the KING. They are essentially laceless skateboarding shoes, so the durability expected in a shoe used for skating is present in a shoe likely to be used for 7-11 or lounging or whatever.
