Definitely worth the price! Wherever there are comparable styles, the price is twice as much, so a great option for cheating/cheaper. I used a Philips frosted glass ball light and it looks amazing! Beautiful modern industrial lighting! I like them a lot better than the regular lamps you find at Lowe's or Home Depot. These competing high-end lamps can be seen in furniture stores for a lot less. They are high quality and look absolutely beautiful. I couldn't wait to turn on the Edison bulbs to see what they look like when they're on! I'm obsessed!

So good for my bedside table! Minimalist and goes well with black furniture and white linens. I like a chain. No more fumbling and fumbling to find the switch. And the way the bottom is open is just perfect for me to put my phone and glasses on. That way they don't accidentally get thrown off the bedside table. This lamp uses a 60 watt bulb which is not overly bright but is sufficient for reading in bed.

We liked the look of this lamp so much that we bought a floor lamp to match. My only complaint is that the lamp switch is on the cord and not on the lamp itself. We ended up wrapping the cord around the lamp a bit to make the switch accessible while we were still at the desk (instead of fishing out the cord every time we needed the switch). We combined this lamp with a round Edison lamp and the whole look is very modern and industrial.

I use this backlit lamp for growing plants. I love it! I love the minimalist style and the fact that it hangs very low so the bulb can be close to my plants. However, I put the lamp base on top of the box because it was actually too low with the bulb (in my drawing, the lamp base is just behind the top of the terrarium). If you use a regular lamp instead of a thick one you may not have this problem but be aware that this is not a tall lamp so the lamp hangs low.

Excellent aesthetic lamp. The description of the item states that a lightbulb is not included. You have to buy your own. Mine didn't break and seems solid. If yours arrives broken you should call customer service and they will be happy to send it back to you. Also read the review that says this lamp is not bright enough. This is a review of a 15 inch black table lamp with an open gold socket. I bought it because I wanted to use it with a Bluetooth smart lightbulb for my desk. When I received it it had to be assembled - basically screwing the vertical shaft into the base as well as the gold bushing.
