The original Globe Encore was my favorite shoe so when I saw that they were re-launched I bought a pair. The globe must have changed factories because they are of very poor quality compared to the other two new globe beads I still have in the box. It's a shame but I think the world stopped making quality shoes sometime in 2016.

The Encore 2 is not the Encore I wore almost 10 years ago, it was just a soft, comfortable shoe! This one is scaled down and the shape is a little different, but not bad at all. True to size and feels pretty comfortable! Well filled, but not too much and not too little. They appear to be quite flexible, like most vulcanized shoes, but not as flexible either. Interesting to see them skate as I bought them for $38 before tax!
