Okay, first things first. These heaters work, they just don't work as advertised. They don't offer a 21 F temperature range. Maybe 15 under ideal conditions and a lot less than in a semi-cold (60 F) environment. I have three 300w, 1150w and 1100w. 300 watts is perfect for a 40 gallon farm. 100W is suitable for 10G. 150W is suitable for 20G.
