Globe Sabre Skate Shoes Charcoal: Premium Men's Athletic Footwear Review

I really don't understand the negative reviews. Most of the photos of the shoes look old. These Globe Saber shoes are made of durable material. I'll definitely be buying a few more pairs as soon as I can. The only really negative thing I can say is that I wish the tongue was at least 1/4 inch longer. Pretty amazing skateboard shoe that other companies would probably be happy to copy.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The yellow details of the paint I bought looked very nice. The ankle was also very nice and comfortable, yet supportive. Unfortunately this was the first Globe shoe I bought and returned. I have wide hobbit feet which are usually a size 124E. I comfortably wear a size 13 in the Globe, but this particular model is not as wide as other Globe shoes and pinches my toes. They are durable if you have a normal foot width.

Size smaller than Vans by a size or two. Tang is part of the sides, slightly different, do not know how it will hold up. Looks good !

This product is as advertised. A very durable skate shoe that is also very comfortable when you need to be on your feet for long periods of time.

I love this brand! It's like walking on clouds! This shoe is true to size! DO NOT GET A SIZE LESS OR UP! I wear them all day and my legs are still relaxed!

My husband loves them, they feel like slippers on his feet. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had. Even the doggy is indestructible!

Terrible quality globes, shoes are uneven and the left shoe has a dent on the sole that presses on my foot when worn. My husband loves these shoes. They're awesome.

It seems like it's 7boys not 7mens, the foot is so narrow and causes a lot of pain when the foot is squeezed. In a way I had to live with that because once you've paid that price you have to wait to try on another pair of shoes.

If you're into classic skateboard shoes, you can't go wrong with a pair of Globes. Will probably buy another pair why not? =P

Super comfortable, great fit. Would definitely buy again. My only complaint, if there really was one, is that they need more bearings in 13.5 or 13 widths, otherwise they are perfect.

The toes are very narrow compared to the rest of the shoes! Almost like wearing sneakers with elegant shoes. There are threads that stick out on the inside and dig into my foot and when I decided to up the size thinking that maybe a bigger shoe would give me enough room for my toes I found that they almost were the same size. They might be comfortable if I had very narrow shoes, but I don't have them and she doesn't.

I usually wear a size 13 or 14 depending on the shoe manufacturer. I ordered them when I was 14 to be on the safe side and they were still a bit small. otherwise great shoes.

I love these shoes. The first pair I bought I put on for the first time and ran a few miles and my feet felt great afterwards. No time break required. I have a wide foot and my legs are a little scared of wearing army boots after 6 years in the army. Wildness and extra padding are perfect for me. He tried a few other globes and they didn't fit right away.

I wore them to work in the office ONCE and the sole of my left shoe fell off! I almost never went to them! Apparently the soles of these shoes are held in place with cheap glue. Thank goodness I wasn't skating the day I put those "skate shoes" on.

4 stars because the quality and style of these shoes is amazing but I would definitely recommend going up a size. My husband said they were so uncomfortable he couldn't even wear them anymore. For reference, it is a size 11 1/2 but needs a size 12 or larger.

Bought them for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. I almost always buy him shoes as gifts, and 9 times out of 10 they're globes; They just fit better and last longer than other brands of skateboarding shoes. He doesn't skateboard but he's very picky about shoes and the globes I got him last year are still holding up well so I chose these. They're a little cheaper, there are 2 things I don't like about them: they feel tight on the inside, like the shoes are a little off center, and then it feels like the bottom is already wearing off, and i had her almost 2 weeks

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I bought 4 pairs. They last 3+ years. Most boots last 6 months on me. A bit pricey but worth it. I can stand and drive all day without back pain.

These shoes are so comfortable. Always buy globes from school. They help my feet feel better and heal with ankle plates and screws.

First, they didn't come in the original packaging. They were already laced up, one had frayed at the top and you could see the writing on the insole had worn off because someone had already worn it!
