Peace of Mind: Essential Home Security

My analysis of this household sensor revealed that it is an essential addition to any home security system. The GLOGLOW Overflow Leakage Detector Security notifies you of any potential water leaks or overflow preventing costly damage .However, it is limited to detecting water-related issues and does not include other security features such as fire or intrusion detection. Overall, the GLOGLOW detector is a reliable and affordable safety measure for any home..

Pros
  • Provides peace of mind by detecting potential water damage and alerting homeowners.
Cons
  • May result in false alarms if not installed or maintained properly.

Works for water and nothing more

I am using it with Openhab running on Raspberri Pi with Sonoff Flashed Tasmota RF Bridge. These sensors will only send a trigger when wet and will not send a code until dry again. Also, there is no heartbeat code and it cannot signal low battery. I've used a variable power supply and could never get it to detect low voltage. Looking closely at the board, I see that there is a low battery indicator, but no auxiliary circuitry. The signal reaches my RF bridge from the garage controlling the water

Pros
  • Security
Cons
  • Vulgarity
