I can't understand why they aren't the standard for post op clothing. The pubic cone is exactly what he says, the pubic cone. This recovery suit allowed my cat to move around and use her head without pulling her threads out. This should be the standard after surgery if you value the happiness and comfort of your animals.

This suits my cat and was bought after she was neutered but she just couldn't walk. She thought she was going to die, she would just fall down and pretend her legs were broken. Maybe if you buy it enough time before surgery and get your cat used to it then it will work great, I had to resort to a donut for my kitty.

My cat hated it but I loved it! She's a little escape artist, and although she tried very hard to take off her costume, she failed! In fact, it was so well made that we didn't even let her wear the little donut collar we gave her (if you can't tell from the pictures, Bean wasn't surprised lol).
