Works perfectly. Reset it at least 70 times and it still works

Works great. My dump trailer blows a fuse while the truck is moving and I leave the trailer running. I used two packs of fuses before I found this.

Pros
  • Compliance: SAEJ553; SAEJ1171 (ignition protection)
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Ideal for frequently blown fuses

Couldn't find a short in the turn signals. I bought these circuit breakers so I can reset them quickly when I'm on the go. They work like magic! I made a small modification and cut off two small "protective tabs" on either side of the reset button so I could just lean over and press it without looking for something thin enough to fit through the tabs .

Pros
  • Tail: 5.2mm blades compatible with ATO/ATC fuse boxes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fits my purpose

I used this to protect a boost/buck converter (and subsequent electronics) in a battery box I built. It hasn't worked yet, but I've been trying to throw no more than 6 amps, so it makes sense. I was about to use a fuse but fuses of this shape are never 6 amps, you have to use round glass fuses which I didn't want to do. The converter is rated at 6 amps, so it's either that or the glass fuses. I'm happy with that, if it works I just push the button. Note that this may not be appropriate for some

Pros
  • Materials: 94V0 thermoplastic housing, UL listed. Tin plated copper alloy terminals
Cons
  • not reliable
