Not as advertised: repair kits

If you're looking for a direct replacement for your RayBan style eyewear nose pad, this is it. However, if you're looking for a soft, non-slip silicone lining like it's advertised, this isn't for you. These pads look and feel the same as the original, which I wasn't expecting.

Worth the tiny price!

These replacement pieces for the old pads on my old B&L glasses seem to fit perfectly. I have some trouble crimping them tight enough that they don't move, but I blame this on my inability to use pliers. You may want to have an eye doctor install them to make sure you don't lose them. Also, some of them have pretty sharp edges, so I softened them up with fine sandpaper.

Serve a purpose, not freedom.

Good nose pads, but absolutely no freedom. The small metal pins are not as tight as the originals and are too long. As a result, the pads fit snugly against the frame. Take a pair of Ray-Ban and swap the original pads. You will notice that they move a little. It stops with these nose pads. Luckily, the nose pad grips can be bent to your liking, making this a very minor issue. Overall they serve their purpose and I would buy them again if my other two pairs need them.
