Buy these if you work with plastic models. They cut sprues like butter. Let me tell you I bought a cheap kit that you usually find here from Revain who bought some wire cutters and this thing has always had trouble cutting parts out of the sprues. No find, I barely have to squeeze the handles and cut them. God's hands are smaller than I thought, but you can see the quality construction when you hold it in your hands. Do yourself a favor if you're serious about working with plastic. Models that…
These are fantastic cutters but not quite the same as the GH-SPN-120 5.0 as a picture or two would suggest. I know standard marketing images but still a bit misleading. 5.0 us flat blade on one side and thin curved blade on the other side. Good for removing SOME parts, but better for removing the remaining camber with minimal touch up. Bar for either 5.0 or light 800-1200 grit sanding. At the same time, they are great. In any case, I needed a regular pair of wire cutters, and these things work…
At first I was outraged by the price of $40 for a set of wire cutters. I've used many types over the years and never really thought about the difference an expensive pair could make. I decided to try them out when I had a gift card and after using them on Gundam Master Grade I would never go back to cheap wire cutters. They significantly reduce the time and effort required for model creation. The cut is so smooth that there is hardly any tension and I don't have to spend as much time filing or…
My second god, the first was the blue SPN-120, but since I left it in another country and a transparent version of P-Bandai is waiting for me to come together, my only choice is to get the divine hand again. It feels the same as blue, but since blue is SPN-120 and this is PN-120, I think there must be a technical difference. BUT when trimming details it's really the same. The reason I'm desperate for this is because when working with clear version kits, cutters like Tamiya tips will leave ugly…
I've only used cheap wire cutters so far. It was luxury and I thought it would be at least a little different, maybe a little better. I was wrong. Thats much better. If you want to reduce your use of an x-acto blade and tend to get to a place where you REALLY don't need to grind, get this one. small side and SHARP. I have relatively large hands and have lowered them several times. This is where the sharp part comes in as I tossed her between my legs and bent down to catch her. And pretty well…
These are definitely good wire cutters but for what I paid I'm not very impressed. I know these aren't top notch cutters but judging by the photos I expected them to cut like butter, which they do sometimes, and on the right type of plastic, but you have to find the right spot on the blade to cut find to get a good cut. , oily cutting without bending the plastic and showing those horrible white spots. The tip of the blade dulled fairly quickly after crafting maybe 3 or 4 model guns, which is…
Pros
Precision cutter specifically for cutting plastic models.
I've randomly enjoyed Gunpla over the years and seen GodHand recommended thousands of times. The price has always put me off. Having recently gotten 5 pin switches for my 3 pin keyboard, I needed a flush cutter to cut off the extra pins. In the past I've always had to struggle with grinding marks on my Gunpla models. I bought the cheapest pair of wire cutters I could find and used them for years. They always kind of smudged the plastic and stressed it more than they actually cut it. I decided I
